How to Align the Symbol at the Fairy Glen Standing Stones¶

You’ll find the small settlement of Tobhta at the centre of the Isle of Skye. Kassandra will be waiting for you at the stables. After speaking with her, mount up and follow her along the road. You’ll eventually reach the Fairy Glen, a set of standing stones in a glade. This is the same kind of puzzle that you’ve encountered with other standing stones in the game, so you’ll need to use Odin’s Sight ( or ) to highlight the markings on the stones. To align the symbols on the stones, you’ll need to go to the southwestern side of the monument and destroy some boxes which surround a movable barricade. You can then move the barricade to the southeast (as far as it will go), stand on top of it, and move the camera around until the symbol aligns, as shown in the screenshot below.

Follow Kassandra to the Cave of Gold¶

Once you’ve solved the Fairy Glen standing stones mystery and discovered the map on the ground, follow Kassandra on the road again until you reach the Cave of Gold. This is where the Isu artifact is located, but you won’t be able to enter it just yet. First, you’ll need to find some keys in the form of shards, a mechanism which Kassandra seems familiar with from previous artifact hunts. You’ll be ambushed by some more enemies in the cave, so you’ll need to defeat these including a fairly tough Skull-Crusher. After this you’ll have some dialogue options with Kassandra, and even if you want to trust her, the cutscene will end with Eivor storming off to do the next part alone.
