Assassin's Creed: Valhalla

How To Romance Tarben

By
Scott Peers

What To Do Before You Can Romance Tarben

To romance Tarben, you’ll first need to complete The Baker’s Plaint, during which Eivor learns a bit more about Tarben’s backstory as you help him fetch some goods from a nearby market. You won’t be able to begin this quest until you have first built the Bakery in Ravensthorpe. You’ll need to have a Level 2 - Colony status for the settlement before this is possible.

Once you’ve completed The Baker’s Plaint you’ll be able to follow it up with Man of Mystery, which will expand on Tarben’s backstory and confirm some of the suspicions raised as you visited the market and read the notes in the bakery. Now that both Eivor and Tarben trust each other fully, you can speak with Tarben and choose “Shall we spend some time together?”. This will lead to Eivor and Tarben spending some time fishing together at the docks in Ravensthorpe.

After the fishing, you may need to wait a few days before you can speak with Tarben again. When you do, he’ll declare his interest in Eivor and you will have the opportunity to express the same feelings and begin the relationship. From then on, you will have the same options as other relationships, but you will also be able to go fishing together whenever you want, engage in drinking contests, or play a game of Orleg.
