This page offers a guide on where to locate and how to complete Elison Altar, which is a Mystery located in Grantebridgescire, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Altar Offering¶
Elisdon Altar is south of Ravensthorpe, across the Nene River. At this altar, you will need to offer up ten Bullhead (small). Bullhead fish can be found in Nene River to the north, near Ravensthorpe dock. Unfortunately, there are a lot of other fish species in the river, so it’ll take a fair bit of time to collect 10 of one type of fish. There are also other types of bullshead, but you specifically need ones referred to as “small”. It is a little tricky to differentiate between the different species, but the small bullshead fish tend to swim around in groups and are of a smaller size. They are also yellow and tend to swim nearer to the river banks.
There are a number of ways that you could choose to fish. The most straightforward way to fish is use your bow and arrow to shoot them in the water. However, this is obviously a waste of arrows, especially if you don’t always shoot at the right type of fish.
It might be worth waiting to complete this Mystery until you have built the Fishing Hut. You can build the hut when you’ve reached rank 2, and it costs 600 Supplies and 45 Raw Materials to construct. When you’ve built the hut, you’ll have access to a fishing line. By holding ‘G’ to access the action wheel, you’ll now be able to choose to equip a fishing rod.
When you have the fishing rod equipped, you can aim and cast it using your mouse. You’ll want to use Odin’s Sight to first locate some fish then throw out your line in their direction. When a fish has latched to your hook, mash the Space Bar to reel it in, but whilst you do this, you’ll also need to control the fish using W, A, S and D. Pull the fish in the opposite direction to the way it’s swimming so it doesn’t snap your line.
When you have 10 Bullhead (small), return to Elisdon Altar and make the offering. You’ll earn 1 Skill Point for the offer.
