This page will offer a guide on where to locate and how to complete the mystery Lost Drengr, in Rygjafylke, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Location: Erik Loyalskull the Lost Drengr, found in Hildesvini’s Crag.

Fight Erik Loyalskull in Rygjafylke

This Mystery is located within Hildesvini’s Crag, which is west of Fannaraki Summit. Here are a few quick tips to consider before trying this fight:

  • Stock up on arrows! - Shooting Erik’s weak points will be useful for depleting stamina

  • Fill up your ration bag - You’ll definitely want to bring in some snacks to keep you healthy in this fight!

  • Collect some Abilities - Across the world, you’ll find Books of Knowledge that unlock powerful special attacks. Head over to the Rygjafylke Abilities page for information on where to locate the knowledge books in the Rygjafylke area.

  • Master the art of parrying attacks - Whether you use a shield or a second weapon, parrying is key to fighting tougher bosses. Dodging and rolling from attacks is great, but parrying is vital for draining stamina and getting in some safe attacks.

As soon as you accept the fight, Erik will begin frantically swinging his axe, and if you run away from him, he’ll throw a bunch of hand-axes at you! First off, you’ll want to shoot him in his Weak Points to greatly deplete his stamina. You can climb up onto the cliff overlooking him and shoot whilst also hiding behind boulders when he throws axes. His Weak Points are his right shoulder, left forearm and left bicep. Be careful though, he will heal up if you stay up on the cliff for too long, so hit his weak points then jump down to fight him in a melee battle.

Shoot Erik’s weak points to drain his stamina!

When you eventually come to fight him in hand-to-hand combat, you’ll need to be careful of his powerful blows. Parrying using ‘Q’ is great for blocking damage and depleting his stamina. When you’ve drained him of all his stamina, you’ll be able to get a stun attack in using ‘R’ to get a lot of damage in. Parrying his attacks and hitting him after blocking an attack is the best way to get your hits in without leaving yourself vulnerable to his counterattacks. Abilities are also powerful attacks that will aid in your battle against Erik. The Throwing Axe Fury ability will be great for getting in some ranged attacks if you need to back out of the melee combat for a breather.

When you’ve beaten Erik, you’ll need to confirm the kill and then you’ll be rewarded with 2 Skill Points and Fafnir’s Fang Spear.

(1 of 3) Parrying his attacks will keep you safe and give you the opportunity to counterattack!
