This quest begins immediately after Blood Bond. To begin, you’ll need to find Sichfrith in the northwest of Dublin.

Where to Find Ama at the Dublin Docks¶
When you speak with Sichfrith, Eivor will question him about where Thorstein might be found. Sichfrith will mention a woman named Ama, who can usually be found around the docks of Dublin. Use your raven to locate the docks nearby, and then head over there to speak with Ama. If you’re having trouble locating Ama, use Odin’s Sight to highlight her in teal.
After speaking with Ama you’ll need to engage in a drinking contest with her. It doesn’t matter whether you win or lose, but after the contest you’ll need to follow her discretely to the end of the docks. Two of her guards will be trailing her, and if they notice Eivor you’ll have to fight both of them and potentially kill Ama. If you want to make it quick you can kill Ama anyway, but we don’t recommend this.

How to Steal the Key from Ama and Infiltrate Thorstein’s Lair¶
Instead of killing Ama, follow her until she stops at the end of the docks and begins vomiting in the water. This is your chance to approach her from behind and steal the key to Thorstein’s hideout. All you need to do is walk around the guards by keeping close to the water at the docks. Once you have the key, use your raven to identify the hideout nearby. You can infiltrate it by stealth and assassinate guards as you go, or you can storm in and kill everyone quickly. Either way, you’ll need to kill the guards outside the entrance to the lair, since you’ll be bringing Thorstein through here soon. Once you’re inside the lair, kill all the guards and subdue Thorstein.
Thorstein: Dignified Execution, Brutal Death, or Display of Cruelty?¶
Now that you’ve captured Thorstein, you can tie him up and carry him to the Royal Hall. A cutscene will play out here, during which Eivor will be presented with a choice regarding the method of execution for Thorstein. You’ll have the following three choices:
“A dignified execution.”¶
Eivor suggests that Barid should execute Thorstein in a dignified manner, showing that he can lead in accordance with the law. Sichfrith supports this method.
“A brutal death.”¶
Eivor suggests that Thorstein should die a traitor’s death, to show that disloyalty will be brutally punished.
“A display of cruelty.”¶
Eivor suggests that the people would enjoy a public spectacle in the form of a display of cruelty.
It doesn’t actually matter what you choose here, as Barid will have his own plan and let Thorstein go, albeit exiled. The quest will end after a brief conversation with Barid and Sichfrith.
