This page offers a guide on where to locate and how to complete Degolas the Beautiful, which is a Mystery located in Grantebridgescire, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Carry out the Stinking Crates¶
This mystery is located North of Grantebridge and east of Ravensthorpe. You’ll find a child stood outside a foul-smelling house and he’ll ask you to help solve the stench. To do this, you’ll need to head into the house and bring out all of the crates. However, when you’re in the house, you’ll take lots of damage by how toxic the fumes are. Luckily, there’s an absolute ton of berry bushes surrounding their house, so each time you bring out a crate from the house, replenish your health with the berries and then return back into the house. There are four crates in total; two of which are easy to spot, then one is hidden to the right of the entrance, beneath some breakable boxes, and the final one is behind the screen to the left of the room.

Bathe Degolas¶
When you have successfully removed all of the boxes, speak to the boy and he will tell you that it is his father that stinks up the place! Follow the child towards the shallow pond where you’ll find Degolas, his father, standing on a wooden platform in the trees. The child cannot convince his father to bathe, so you’ll need to shoot the platform beneath his feet to force him to wash in the pond below.
Once the father has been cleansed of his stink, speak to him in front of the house to complete the Mystery. You’ll earn 1,200 EXP for completing the Mystery, and you’ll also be able to line your pockets with berries! Up on Degolas’ platform in the trees, you’ll also be able to grab some arrows and some other supplies from a chest.
