The following Pokémon games can connect with Pokémon HOME:

Pokémon Bank

It’s worth noting that you can potentially transfer Pokémon from the first seven generations by passing them through Pokémon Bank, then Pokémon HOME.

The following Pokémon games can connect with Pokémon Bank:

Pokémon X & Y (Gen 6) Nintendo 3DS Freely, but cannot return to original game if sent to Gen 7
Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire (Gen 6) Nintendo 3DS Freely, but cannot return to original game if sent to Gen 7
Pokémon Sun & Moon (Gen 7) Nintendo 3DS Freely
Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon (Gen 7) Nintendo 3DS Freely

The following Pokémon games can connect with Pokémon Bank’s companion app Poké Transporter, which sends them to Pokémon Bank:

Legacy Games

For the remaining games:

  • You can transfer Pokémon from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen (Gen 3) to Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver (Gen 4) via the Pal Park in the Gen 4 games (one-way). You will need a Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite with a GameBoy Advance slot.
  • You can transfer Pokémon from Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver (Gen 4) to Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 (Gen 5) via the Poké Transfer Lab in the Gen 5 games (one-way). You will need two Nintendo DS, 2DS or 3DS consoles.
