By
Jessica Dillon

If you want to get some exclusive Pokemon, then there’s no better place to look than in-game trades in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. There are three trade NPCs located across the Paldea region, each that offers you some hard-to-pass-up deals. The third trade NPC you will encounter is located in Cascarrafa, the home of the water-type gym. Below we go over everything you need to know about how to complete this trade, including where to find Paldean hooper.

The trade NPC located in Cascarrafa.

Where to Find The Trade NPC in Cascarrafa

You will find the girl who wants to trade Paldean "Wooper" IconWooper for the normal version of Wooper in the fountain plaza at the cities lowest level.

Paldean Wooper is incredibly easy to find. In fact, you will encounter your first batch of them around Los Platos when you first start the game. If you don’t already have one caught, then fly back to Los Platos and walk down to the small lake located alongside the path. You should find a low-level Paldean Wooper wandering around the edge of the lake that can be caught with just a few poke ball throws.

Wooper’s Stats

Pokemon Typing: Water

The normal version of Wooper will come to you at level 18 regardless of what level the Paldean hooper you trade is. It will have a water Tera Type and an impish nature. It will also come holding a piece of rare candy and have the following move set.

When evolved, it will also evolve into a "Quagsire" IconQuagsire instead of a Clodsire.

Can You Catch Wooper in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet?

No, the only way to currently get the standard version of Wooper in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet is through this trade. That means that this is also the only way to get a Quagsire in the game. This may change later on, but for now, you should go ahead with this trade, especially since it’s so easy to catch a Paldean Wooper early on.
