Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is a true open world Pokémon experience and as such, you are free to tackle the three main storylines in any order. This page will guide you on the best route through the Starfall Street storyline.
What is the Best Way to Progress the Starfall Street Story?¶
If you’ve decided to focus only on Starfall Street to begin with, or you want to see what Level the next squad is, you can refer to the table below:
Order | Crew | Level | Type | Map Marker |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Dark Crew | 21 | Dark | Map Marker |
2 | Fire Crew | 27 | Fire | Map Marker |
3 | Poison Crew | 33 | Poison | Map Marker |
4 | Fairy Crew | 44 | Fairy | Map Marker |
5 | Fighting Crew | 51 | Fighting | Map Marker |
6 | Final Battles | 61-62 | Varies | Map Marker |
As you can see, once you defeat all five squads, the storyline will end with two final battles. You can find a few tips about each of the squads below:
Where To Find The Dark Crew¶
The first Starfall Street battle serves more of an introduction to how they go down, so it shouldn’t cause too many problems. With the leader being a Dark-type, its weaknesses are Bug , Fairy , and Fighting and you’ll encounter a lot of Bug Pokémon in and around the area which should help out.

Where To Find The Fire Crew¶
You’ll have to head over to eastern Paldea for the next Team Start squad. With the leader being a Fire-type, its weaknesses are Ground , Water , and Rock so if you chose the Water Starter, you’re in for an easier time here. Alternatively, there are Water-type Pokémon found near the sea here.

Where To Find The Poison Crew¶
The Poison Crew are your next target, and with them being a Poison-type, their weaknesses are just Ground and Psychic making it trickier to create a team that will target their specific weakness. You’ll also want to make sure you have protection or items to deal with the Poison you’ll be suffering here.

Where To Find The Fairy Crew¶
The Fairy Crew follows the Poison Crew and like that squad, you’ll find they’re only weak to Poison and Steel , even tougher Types to try and add to your team. You can get a few Poison-types early on and they help against some of the Titans so are well worth looking out for.

Where To Find The Fighting Crew¶
The Fighting Crew is one of the tougher squads to deal with as the Pokémon they use at this stage of the game can be tricky. As Fighter-types, their weaknesses are Fairy , Flying , and Psychic and Flying-types are easy to find out in the wild, making them a good choice for these battles.

Final Battles¶
As with all the other storylines, once you take out all of the objectives, there will be some final battles to end this storyline. We don’t want to spoil this here for you though, if you’re looking for an in-depth strategy on how to win the final battles, head on over to our [Walkthrough] here (coming soon).
Starfall Street Rewards¶
The Starfall Street storyline is focused on tracking down the bases of the infamous Team Star and defeating each of their leaders in the hope you can get them to disband. Before you can take on the leader, though, you’ll need to participate in a raid battle by tossing out three of your Pokémon to auto-battle the current team’s grunts.
For completing each one, you’ll obtain a new TM along with materials and new recipes to use at the TM machine found at Pokémon Centers. The bases often block certain areas off too, so you’ll need to gain access (unless you have all of the travel abilities) to get around the world. In terms of rewards, Starfall Street has the least useful rewards.
