Delibird, usually a competitively unviable Pokémon, is getting some love from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Delibird Tera Raids are a thing alongside its Paradox form in Pokémon Violet as Iron Bundle. We need to know all about its stats drops and the moveset Delibird will be gifting to players. Here’s everything trainers need to know about this special 5-Star Delibird Tera Raid.
Delibird Tera Raid Date and Time¶
Event Tera Raids give off a special Aura sparkle, making them stand out from normal and Black Crystal Tera Raid battles in-game and in the game’s map. There are only ten Event Tera Raid crystals per day in a trainers game, but they can also access the Poképortal for more opportunities to access the Delibird Tera Raid drops. Here are the start and end times:
Start: Friday, December 23, 2022, at 12.00 a.m. UTC
End: Sunday, December 25, 2022, at 23.59 p.m. UTC
The Delibird Tera Raid will be followed by the Cinderace Tera Raid which will also be the next 7 Star event. We’re also certain that Belly Drum Azumarill and Flutter Mane will be powerful Tera Raid Builds, more so Azumarill thanks to its quick attack stat boost with Belly Drum before going in with Play Rough or Tera Blast when using a Fairy Tera Type.
With the Delibird Tera Raid, we’re putting our money on Iron Thorns being a solid Delibird Tera Raid build. It’s a Rock / Electric type, which means it’s going to be super effective against Delibirds Ice / Flying standard and Tera types. By combining the moves Electric Terrain with its Quark Drive ability, electric moves are powered up alongside boosting Iron Thorns most proficient stat, just make sure that stat is Attack. Alternatively it can hold the item Booster Energy to get the same effects from Quark Drive in order to focus on Rock Type moves. Moves such as Stone Edge for massive damage and Sandstorm to increase Iron Thorns Special Defense for five turns. This can be increased to 7 turns if its holding a Smooth Rock.
Delibird Tera Raid Stats, Drops and Moveset¶
The biggest feature of the Delibird Tera Raid is the chance of various Tera Shard drops. These can be taken to the Treasure Eatery in Medali where the Sushi Chef can change a Pokémons Tera Type. There’s also a small chance to join a Shiny Delibird Tera Raid, but the odds aren’t as good as finding them normally in-game.
Here’s a breakdown of the Delibird Tera Raid, which includes stats, drops and Delibirds moveset:
