Behind the Community Center, a couple is handing around talking about a “Lovey-Dovey Pokémon” who want trainer to show them one. Where is this Lovey-Dovey Pokémon location and what will they reward trainers with? We’ve gathered all the information trainers need for this quest, so let’s get straight into it.

How To Start The Lovey-Dovey Pokémon Quest

Starting from the Community Center, head behind it and around the pond to find the couple on the northwest side with dark yellow speech bubbles. See the images below for more information:

The Lovey-Dovey Pokémon Location

The Lovey-Dovey Pokémon can either be Tandemaus or it’s evolved form Maushold. For trainers who already have either of these Pokémon, just talk to the couple and show them. In Kitakami, Tandemaus can be found in a few locations, with the best location in our experience being the northwest corner of Paradise Barrens. "Fly" iconFly to Paradise Barrens then head Northwest to the location shown below to find a Maushold. We used a "Quick Ball" iconQuick Ball to catch our Tandemaus, but trainers will need to know the best way to tackle catching this Pokémon when it’s found.

(1 of 3) There are plenty of places to catch the Lovey-Dovey Pokémon.

How To Catch The Lovey-Dovey Pokémon

Tandemaus is a Normal| normal-type Pokémoon, so fighting-type moves will be super-effective, although we don’t want to knock-out Tandemaus. We would recommend a high-level Pokémon with the move "False Swipe" iconFalse Swipe and "Thunder Wave" iconThunder Wave to get HP down to one and to cause paralysis.

Lovey-Dovey Pokémon Rewards

Travel back to the Lovey-Dovey couple to show them Tandemaus. After they burst with excitement, trainers will be rewarded with two new emotes for multiplayer: Heart (Right) emote and Heart (Left) emote.

Trainers will receive brand new emotes as a reward for finding and showing the Lovey-Dovey Pokémon.

And that’s everything trainers need to kknow about the location of the Lovey-Dovey Pokémon. Looking to complete more post game content? We also have guides on catching The Loyal Three and Bloodmoon Ursaluna too.
