Best Ceruledge Tera Raid Event Builds¶
Ceruledge Raid builds will see the version exclusive Pokémon rocking every Tera-Type under the Pokésun, which can make it a challenge to suggest a unified best build for it. Whilst Ceruledge is very weak to Water-type moves as standard, it’s full list of weaknesses are:
- Dark
- Ghost
- Ground
- Rock
- Water
With that in mind, we would recommend the following Pokémon and builds:
Tera Type | EV Focus | Held Item | Moveset | Level | Nature | Ability |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Water | HP and Attack | Shell Bell | Liquidation, Belly Drum, Aqua Ring and Play Rough | 100 | Adamant | Huge Power |
This Ceruledge Raid Build is the same Azumarill build used against Charizard the Unrivaled back in 2022. The idea with this build is to increase it’s already powerful attack stat with the Huge Power ability and Belly Drum. This then allows Azumarill to hit hard with Liquidation and Play Rough. Liquidation would be a great recommendation under normal circumstances, but Ceruledges Tera-Typing may change this approach. Play Rough is there to even the battlefield.
Tera Type | EV Focus | Held Item | Moveset | Level | Nature | Ability |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Rock | Attack and Sp. Atk | Smooth Rock | Crunch, Screech, Stone Edge and Taunt | 100 | Adamant | Sand Stream |
Tyranitar is a boulder breaker for Ceruledge, usually thanks to Sand Stream, which causes a Sand Storm and a 50% defense boost to Rock-Types. Holding smooth rock extended the usual five-turn sandstorm into eight moves, making the defensive boost last for longer, although Ceruledge may use Sunny Day to cancel it out. Stone Edge will be Super Effective, with the Dark-Type move Crunch to fall back on. A solid Ceruledge Raid Build for sure.
Tera Type | EV Focus | Held Item | Moveset | Level | Nature | Ability |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Water | Attack and Sp. Atk | Life Orb | Rain Dance, Calm Mind, Hydro Canon and Aqua Ring | 100 | Modest | Water Absorb |
Aqua Ring provides healing backup. Rain Dance activating Vaporeons Water absorbs ability, healing any burn damage dealt by Will-O-Wisp. Calm Mind raises Sp. Atk and Sp. Def, which will allow Hydro Canon to bulldoze Ceruledge given the right Tera Typing is in play.
