Dragapult Tera Raid Stats, Drops and Moveset

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page details all the information you’ll need for how to beat "Dragapult" IconDragapult in the sixth Spotlight Tera Raid Event in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet (SV). You’ll find information on Dragapult’s stats, tera type, moveset and drops so you can plan your Pokémon build accordingly!

The sixth tera event will begin from midnight UTC on January 6th through to 23:59 UTC on January 8th 2023. During this event, "Hydreigon" IconHydreigon will appear in Scarlet games whilst Dragapult will appear in Violet.

Spotlight Tera Raid: Dragapult.

Dragapult Stats and Tera Type

Dragapult’s tera type will depend on what star raid you encounter it in. If you go against it in a 4-star raid then it’ll be entirely random what tera type you’ll go up against. Luckily, 4-Star raids don’t need a massive amount of prep work so as long as your Pokémon isn’t weak to Dragapult’s moveset (outlined below), you shouldn’t have too much trouble! You can see on the map which type of tera type it’ll be (look out for the shiny tera battle symbol) and you can just avoid any bad types!

Dragapult with a Dragon tera type will be weak to Fairy moves..

However, if you go up against a 5-star Dragapult, then you’ll have a 50% chance of it either being Dragon or Random. This means you may want to build a decent Pokémon build for going up against Steel, but do make sure that you know what tera type you’re getting yourself in for before you bring a hyper-specific Dragon counter build. The last thing you want is for your build to be doing x0.5 damage to a random Dragapult tera type!
