By
Jessica Dillon

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet come with a ton of new mechanics, including a food system. You are now able to make sandwiches, and for the most part, you will be picking ingredients up from stores in the various towns in the game. Some ingredients are rare and can only be obtained through special means. These are called Herba Mystica and can boost your odds of finding shiny Pokemon, making them a must for many players. Below we go over everything you need to know about Herba Mystica and how to use them.

What Are Herba Mystica?

Herba Mystica are food items in Pokemon Violet and Pokemon Scarlet. To use them, you must set up a picnic and make them into a sandwich. They are a rare item that can only be obtained in the post-game, and there are five different types.

How Do You Get Herba Mystica

You can only get Herba Mystica from participating in five-star and up Tera Raids. These are rare items, and you are depending on the game’s RNG system to give them to you. Your best chance of getting one comes with completing a six-star Tera Raid. Here is what Pokemon will drop each Herba Mystica.
