Looking for some Pokéintel on how to get Duskull, Dusclops, and Dusknoir In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask? We’ve got trainers covered in this comprehensive guide, complete with screenshots and one of the best competitive builds for Dusknoir. Let’s jump straight in and get started.
How To Get Duskull¶
Duskull can only be found at night, so wait for dusk and head over to Infernal Pass to find and catch one. Duskulls won’t put up much of a fight and can be caught using a Quick Ball.
How To Get Dusclops¶
Dusknoir can be found near The Timeless Woods in the wild, but it’s easier to evolve a Duskull or catch another Duskull for those who want a living Pokédex. There is a solid chance of wild Dusklops being a Tera Pokémon, so head to this location if necessary. Trainers only need to raise Duskulls level by one stage to trigger an evolution into Dusklops.
How To Get Dusknoir¶
Dusknoir requires a Reaper Cloth and a trade to trigger the evolution. A Reaper Cloth can be found in Timeless Woods. Once found, give it to Dusclops to hold and it’s time to trade.
For those who don’t have a spare copy of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Nintendo Switch or a fellow trainer to trade with, Austin John Plays has provided the Pokémon community with trade codes for situations just like this. Enter code “0356 0356” to find a fellow trainer who also needs to trade a Dusclops with a Reaper Cloth. Once the trade is complete, Dusclops will evolve into Dusknoir.

This competitive Dusknoir Build focuses on keeping Substitute in play by focusing on boosting attack with Brave and high attack EV, whilst wearing out opponents by burning double their PP with Pressure. When Terastalizing into a fighting type, it can make quick work of dark-types with Focus Punch as its STAB move. Before this, Shadow Punch is the go-to STAB move with Earthquake providing good coverage.
