Diablo IV successfully passed it’s Beta phase in 2023, but you still might be wondering whether you have a rig capable of playing this amazing dungeon ’em-up. These specs still hold true after the full launch, we have updated this page to reflect that.

Sure we have had Diablo Immortal to dabble with in the time since Diablo III but things have undoubtedly moved on when it comes to PC tech specs since the last chapter. So let us have a closer look at the kind of the rig you will need to to packing in order to get the most out of the beta when it arrives.

If we are going to play Diablo IV for as long as we did D3 and D2, these specs will long be obsolete by time we get to DIablo V.

Diablo IV System Specifications¶

The minimum and recommended system specs for D4 look pretty light at this stage but there is the caveat that they are for the Open Beta running pretty low levels of detail. Most people will want to push that far in advance of these suggested settings, so bear that in mind if your own specs are at the lower end of the required spectrum.

Diablo IV Minimum PC Specifications¶

These settings will enable Diablo IV to run at 1080p native resolution / 720p render resolution, low graphics settings, 30 fps.

Diablo IV Recommended PC Specifications¶

These settings will enable Diablo IV to run at 1080p resolution, medium graphics settings, 60 fps.

It is fair to say that if you want Diablo IV to look as nice as some of the screenshots we have seen you will have to crank up the detail beyond what is suggested here.

How Well Does Diablo IV run?¶

Blizzard is keen to point out at that Diablo IV will run on PCs that fall below the minimum specification threshold. You won’t be locked out of the Open Beta simply because the you are trying to run it on older hardware, but you should expect a reduction in performance levels.
