Diablo games haven’t traditionally been known to be overly heavy on character customization but it doesn’t take long to get some nice looking playthings out of the character generator.
We have created bulky barbarians and sneaky looking Rogues, and you can generally make them as menacing or playful as you like.
You can take a look at some of the characters the Gamer Guides team has made for their starting builds in the gallery below.
How To Customize Your Character In Diablo IV¶
Diablo IV players can currently choose from five playable classes: Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, Necromancer and Rogue. There are always rumors that we will get new classes such as the Paladin, further down the track. Each class has a unique set of abilities and play style which you can read plenty more about within these guide pages.
Additionally, players are able to customize their character’s appearance, including their gender, facial features, skin tone, and more. This customization allows players to create a unique character that is tailored to their preferences.
Players also have the ability to customize their character’s skills and abilities through a talent tree system. This will allow players to create a unique build that suits their play style but let’s look at the character generator before we get carried away.
As you can see from the image, everything normal like skin tone and hair can be tweaked until you are happy, but you can also apply some realistic looking warpaint and makeup onto their skin as well.
A combination of buttons and sliders will quickly let you get the look you desire for whatever class you have chosen to begin with.
Of course, when they are shrunk down to a more regular play size this won’t show up, but for inventory and status screens you will definitely appreciate the extra polish.
