The Diablo 4 Main Quest offers plenty of scenarios and you’ll often be facing off against challenging bosses and encounters that will stand in your way in the Piercing the Veil Main Quest which takes place at the end of Act III. This page will navigate you through the necessary steps to finding and defeating Elias, Fallen Horadrim.
How to Find Elias, Fallen Horadrim¶
Before you can fight Elias, Fallen Horadrim you’ll need to progress through the game until you reach the Main Quest Piercing the Veil which takes place at the end of Act III. Here you’ll want to enter The Exalted Terrace Dungeon, then you’ll have to fight multiple clones of Elias over 4 battles. Each battle will gradually add more mechanics, then the final fight will combine them all.
Elias, Fallen Horadrim Boss Strategy¶
As you mentioned above you’ll fight Elias multiple times throughout the dungeon, then when you reach the Halls of the Master Room the proper battle will take place. Here you’ll be in a smallish battlefield, but there’s more then enough room to dodge away from his attacks. Elias has three main attacks you need be aware of and you can learn all about them below:
- Homing Projectiles
The most common attack that Elias will use throughout the battle is homing projectiles that he’ll shoot out from his staff. If you get hit, then you’ll only take a little bit of damage, but as there are multiple it’ll build up. Simply keep dodging around the battlefield until it disappears.
- Tethers
Throughout the battle Elias will summon Crazed Supplicants which can tether themselves to Elias and make him invulnerable to any of your attacks, so you’ll want to make sure you focus on taking down the ads quickly. However, the closer Elias gets to death the amount of tethers will increase.
- Ads
Elias will constantly summon ads into the fight to help him out and you can see where they are about to spawn, as you’ll see red circles on the floor. You’ll want to shift your focus onto taking down the ads as quickly as possible as avoiding them will make it harder to dodge his attacks.
Elias, Fallen Horadrim focuses more on ranged attacks, so you’ll want to try and stick closer to him whilst continuously using your Normal and Ultimate Skills until he summons ads, then take them down using your AoE (Area of Effect) Skills before continuing to attack him. Additionally, the further you get into the battle Elias will summon ads that can explode, so you’ll want to attack them down with ranged attacks if possible.
