The fourth Chapter of the Diablo 4 Season 1 journey requires players to take on a mixture of content to enter end game, as well as participate in the seasonal content, and regular build progressing content to complete the Chapter. If your aim is to advance to the fifth chapter as soon as possible, we will give a list of recommendations on how to complete Chapter 4 of the Season Journey in Diablo 4.
Chapter 4 Season 1 Journey Guide for Diablo 4¶
Killing Corrupted Elites and taking their caged hearts help to clear several or are included in several objectives for Chapter 4 of the Season 1 Journey.
Below is a list of objectives and their descriptions of all challenges in this bracket, including the rewards for completing the chapter. Players will need to complete around 9 of these objectives to complete the Chapter.

Per our recommendations, we highly recommend you complete objectives 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 to progress your Chapter 4 Season Journey. The reasons for these are down to very passive gameplay objectives you will naturally get to as you progress through to level 50.
Heart Render is a very easy objective to complete, as you will often find Corrupted enemies in your dungeons, and is your go to Malignant Heart farm. These will help you gather Ichor or Hearts to slot into items as you get better gear through the course of leveling up. So, this is one you will naturally complete. The same can be said for the Trial of the Mighty, which is a Kill 100 Elites. Corrupted Enemies are often Elite enemies, and so, count for this objective. Not to mention while leveling you will encounter Elites in dungeons, and so, naturally progress this as soon as you enter dungeon farms while leveling your character. This then naturally follows into the Codex Of Power objective, as you will more than likely be targeting dungeons that grant you aspect for your build, or doing dungeons marked by the Tree of Whispers for objectives in other chapters.
Meanwhile, some of the easier to target objectives like the Cathedral of Light and level 50 go in hand and hand. Players will need to hit the Cathedral of Light and beat it if they intend to progress out of the leveling zone, and hit World Tier 3. Typically players need to be level 50 to clear this, so both naturally go hand in hand, knocking off another two objectives. Once you beat the Cathedral, you can then change World Tier, so, that’s another objective ticked off the list. In addition, by the time you reach level 50, you likely have enough aspects an gear drops to have a full legendary set on your character, hitting another off the list.
As for your remaining content, you will want to hit the crafting objectives. Crafting 10 Elixirs at the Alchemist is very easy to approach, as you can easily craft 10 
Weak Iron Barb Elixirs, as they require the easiest to find herbs in the game. Crafting ten offers some easy consistent XP bonuses to make leveling slightly faster, so this can be another easy feat before you’re even in Chapter 4. Moreso, you will collect 5 Coiling Wands very easily be dismantling legendaries armor pieces you don’t need. You may also complete the A Legend of the Forge objective as well for a massively upgraded an item that’s really good for your build, but, for progression, it’s likely not that important unless you want to do it.
As you can see, many of the challenges in the fourth chapter of the season journey in Diablo 4 Season 1 are very easy to beat very passively.
