Gallowvine is the basic ingredient in almost all of the Elixirs and Incense in Diablo 4. Players must farm this fairly often if they intend to create a great stockpile of elixirs to counter the effects of Nightmare dungeons. In addition, the reagent is used as part of the season journey in part 1, which you need to complete for Holding Back the Flood. It is also useful for other Season journey chapters too whether it is to farm Gallowvine, or to trade at potions sellers for other crafting materials. Either way, here are some great Gallowvine farms in Diablo 4 so you can farm your Elixirs and Season journey with ease.
Gallowvine Farms in Diablo 4¶
The great thing to know about Gallowvine in Diablo 4 is that it is one of the most common spawns in the game. This flower grows everywhere, and so it is easily found. However, saying that, if you just want to get this material farmed very quickly, then here are some great farming locations for Gallowvine.
Lorath’s Hut¶
If you remember back to the start of the campaign, when you walk through the nightly blizzard, wading through snow to get to his shack. Well, these pathways leading to his house have plenty of flower spawns you can get. There are a few nodes of Gallowvine, along with Biteberry too, which should help you create some cheap elixirs for the craft five Elixirs objective in Chapter 3 of the Season Journey too!
Simply run around the edges of this small area and go around the house too. You should be able to pick up a lot of Gallowvine here whenever you are in need.
Yelesna - Fractured Peaks¶
The bogs around the small village of Yelesna in the southeast of Fractured Peaks is a decent location for players to explore. The areas around the Waypoint have several locations that spawn. When you have exhausted the area, you can then travel north towards Malnok, where you can find some more spawns.
Firstly, go northwest from !Yelesna first, then pick up the herb farming spots around there. After that, follow the bend around to your west, and then follow it north. When you can’t see any more herb spots, travel west and follow the road along towards the camp you visit in act 1 for The Darkened Way. When that’s cleared, follow the path to Malnok, and take whatever remaining plants you can find around the rocky cliff spawns.
Alzuuda - Dry Steppes¶
The Field of Hatred in Dry Steppes may be a PvP zone, but, those braving the northern fringes of the area will find around eight potential spawns, with the bulk in the northwest corner. Moreso, this area is out of the way of the vents and roaming bosses. So, you shouldn’t get too much trouble. Feel free to get an idea of the locations by checking the map marker and seeing our interactive map.
You basically want to do the run in a sort of triangle, starting from the waypoint, following the red cliff edges up towards the top, then follow the cliffs and pathways down on the right side of the zone. When you can come to an opening that allows you to head northeast back into Dry Steppes proper, you want to travel back to the waypoint, and pick up the few nodes that spawn along the rocky spots.
Tarsarak - Kehjistan¶
The Tararak Waypoint, found towards the central east region of Kehjistan has a few fairly close-by nodes of Gallowvine you can farm. Simply head east from the town, towards where the edges of the area are, and you’ll stumble into a few coves, dead ends and plants growing from the walls of the area. Keep in mind you will want to head east first, then south towards the Hawezar pathway, and then around the waypoint and go north, following the edge again.
