The Diablo 4 Main Quest offers plenty of scenarios and you’ll often be facing off against challenging bosses and encounters that will stand in your way in the Descent Into Flame Main Quest which takes place towards the end of Act III. This page will navigate you through the necessary steps to finding and defeating Brol, The Tyrant King.
How to Find Brol, The Tyrant King¶
Before you can fight Brol, The Tyrant King you’ll need to progress through the game until you reach the Main Quest Descent Into Flame which takes place in Act III. Here you’ll want to enter the Temple of the Prime Dungeon which can be found by heading northeast from the Fate’s Retreat Waypoint. Progress through the dungeon whilst using AoE Attacks to clear out all the enemies, then when you encounter Brol, The Tyrant King when you reach the Altar of Sacrifice room.
Brol, The Tyrant King Boss Strategy¶
You’ll be given a fairly decent size battlefield to move about in during this boss fight which is good, as you’ll need to dodge around the arena a lot to avoid his attacks. Brol’s has three main attacks you need be aware of and you can learn all about them below:
- Ground Slam
Whilst you’re attacking Brol you’ll see him lift his arms up into the air for a few seconds before slashing straight down into the ground ahead of him. If you get hit with this, then you’ll take a little bit of damage and you’ll be pushed back.
- Slash
Throughout the battle you’ll want to avoid standing directly in front of Brol as he’ll constantly perform a slashing attack until you move. It won’t stun you, so you can continue dealing damage to the boss, but your health will be constantly depleting, so it’s safer to move out of the way.
The last main attack that Brol will use is a simple dash which will take off a chunk of health. As long as you’re not standing in front of him then this attack is easily avoidable.
Brol, The Tyrant King is one of the simpler bosses you’ll come across during the story, as he doesn’t have many long range attacks. However, it’s easy to get greedy with attacks and forget about your health, so throughout the battle you’ll want to run in and get a couple hits whilst standing to the side, then get back before he does one of the above attacks. Additionally, ads will spawn in frequently throughout the battle, so you’ll want to make sure you deal with them first otherwise you may get overwhelmed and take a lot of damage quickly.
