How to Start the An Eye For an Eye Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16

First things first, you’ll need to have completed the main story mission Fire in the Sky, and be on Things Fall Apart. When those requirements have been met, head over to "Goetz" iconGoetz who can be found in The Rear Stacks area of the Hideaway. Speak with him and you’ll learn that there are some rumors going around that "Charon" iconCharon has been doing some business with some bandits and Goetz wants you to see if they are true.

Where to Find the Storehouse

Once you’ve finished speaking with Goetz, head on over to the Main Deck and speak with Charon and you’ll quickly discover that these rumors aren’t true, so return to him and give him the good news. However, he wants to put a stop to these rumors and requires your assistance, so fast travel over to "The Dalimil Inn" iconThe Dalimil Inn which is located in "The Dhalmekian Republic" iconThe Dhalmekian Republic Region and rendezvous with him in The Lock of Toil area. Here you’ll discover that someone in Dalimil is pretending to be Charon, so you’ll want to look for this individual at their storehouse.

Exit The Dalimil Inn via The Desert Gate to reach The Southern "Velkroy Desert" iconVelkroy Desert Sub-Region, then head east and you’ll reach the Storehouse and a short scene will play out where you meet the person behind it all, Jaro, Market Trader. Unfortunately, he isn’t willing to talk and instead gives you some Hired Muscle and Mangy Cur’s to deal with. These are just regular enemies, so you can simply take them down by activating your "Limit Break" iconLimit Break and following up any of you AoE Abilities, such as "Aerial Blast" iconAerial Blast and "Heatwave" iconHeatwave.
