How to Reach Port Isolde

After you complete The Gathering, you will be sent to a new location, Hawk’s Cry Cliff in Rosaria. Here you will be looking into speaking with Clive’s uncle. Head to the first village down the road from the starting point, "Amber" iconAmber. Once there, a short cutscene will play that shows Black Knights questioning villagers. Speak to the two villagers across from the merchant on the right. They will tell you that the Black Knights are looking for someone and give out hefty rewards for information. Head further into the village and speak with the second man to learn that the Black Knights were attacked. At this point, the mayor cuts things off and tells Clive to lead.

You will now proceed through the mountains to the next village. The mountain path is relatively easy, there are two paths that you can take, one with fewer enemies, but you will miss a chest. If you want all the loot then you will want to stick to the left path at first as it will lead you to a chest surrounded by Bombs. Opening the floating chest will give you a "Bull's Horn Braid" iconBull’s Horn Braid. Keep heading south, you will run into some Black Knights and further down you should see some Fallen Hunters, defeat them to open another chest with a "Goblin Coin" iconGoblin Coin, 15x "Bloody Hide" iconBloody Hides, and 15x Spools of "Steelsilk" iconSteelsilk. After this, you should be heading out of the mountains, and a group of Black Knights will be waiting to greet you, defeat them, and head down to the bridge, it’s here that you find fresh blood and soon encounter another squadron of Black Knights. Defeat them and you will learn that they left a message for the Fire Brands in the town ahead, Auldhyl.

(1 of 7) Speak with the first villager in Amber.

Proceed to the town, a cutscene will play showing a brutal scene that Clive’s mother orchestrated with the "Bearer" iconBearers. You will want to exit out of the other side of town and pass by "Bewit Bridge" iconBewit Bridge. There will be an "Obelisk" iconObelisk up ahead, on the beach house across from it is a chest with 10x "Sharp Fang" iconSharp Fangs. Keep proceeding forward until you reach the marker at "Port Isolde" iconPort Isolde, here you will learn that you need to find another way into town, starting Black Light Burns.
