In addition to both the main and side quests in Tears of the Kingdom there are also Shrine Quests that allow you to unlock certain shrines within the game. There aren’t too many of these to have a go at, and the majority of them challenge you to find and return a shrine’s crystal in order to get it back working.
As you would expect from the name of this one, The West Necluda Sky Crystal Shrine Quest is exactly that. With this guide we’ll detail where to start this quest as well as how to complete it so you can get it wrapped up as fast as possible.
Where to Find The West Necluda Sky Crystal Shrine Quest¶

With The !West Necluda Sky Crystal Shrine Quest, you’ll naturally be starting in Necluda for this one. As it is situated in the sky, the easiest way of reaching it is via the 
Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. This one is situated within the Necluda region so ensure you’ve both visited there and got it unlocked to begin.
Upon reaching it, use it to head into the sky and activate your glider. You’re looking for the West Necluda Sky Archipelago, a cluster of islands that you should be able to see almost directly in front of you.

The Ukoojisi Shrine, which the !West Necluda Sky Crystal Shrine Quest is required for, is on the four prolonged island to the east portion. For the shrine itself, and ultimately !The West Necluda Sky Crystal Shrine Quest, is it on the left prong.
How to Complete The West Necluda Sky Crystal Shrine Quest¶
Now, even though we stated that the quest start is to the east island, you can ‘start’ the questing without actually starting it as you can simply head straight for the crystal if you know where it is. The reason why we’re suggesting this is because it just makes things that bit simpler, allowing you to make only one trip to the sky instead of two. This is due to the fact that the crystal is on a separate island so it just makes sense to start there and work your way back.
The island in question here is the westernmost option in the !West Necluda Sky Archipelago cluster so look to the left as you’re traveling to the area. After landing on the island, you’ll need to make your way to the east side and jump off, activating your glider once more. You’re aiming to get onto a separate portion of the island situated beneath.

Here, you should be able to see an area that is gated by vines. Hack them down to allow you to get inside, where you’re met with another section that can also be cut down. Inside is the crystal that you need to take but since you’ve just gone down a level, you’ll need to figure out a way upward.

Thankfully, in the initial room, there are a bunch of parts that you can fuse to create a flying vehicle aiding you in your efforts. Here, you need to use the Zonai Wing and attach two Fans as well as a Steering Stick and a Battery for extra juice. Once you do so, grab the crystal and also fuse it to the vehicle, preferably in the front middle for weight distribution purposes. Then, place the vehicle in the opening you made to come in, if you need to make it wide just chop down a few more of the vines. Now you can hop on and get ready to activate.

Your target is directly in front of you so you should be able to make the flight with ease. After you’ve reached the island with the shrine on it, remove the crystal and ‘start’ the quest at the shrine itself. Then all you have to do is take the crystal that one step further and you will have wrapped up the quest.
The !Ukoojisi Shrine will now be activated, allowing you to go inside. There is no other challenge here and you’ll simply be able to get the item from the chest within as well as the Blessing of !Light to add to your growing collection.
