You will come across a lot of different types of Shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, many of which will require you to do something to actually get to them. One such case is the Motsusis Shrine, which will be located inside the !South Lomei Labyrinth. This page will detail where to find that labyrinth, as well as how to get through it, to the shrine.
Where to Find the Motsusis Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom¶
As mentioned above, the Motsusis Shrine is located in the middle of the South Lomei Labyrinth, which is one of three mazes in the game. Each one is part of a larger side quest, which involves going through a maze on the Surface, one in the Sky, then fighting a boss in the Depths. For the sake of this page, you will only be going through the maze on the Surface, as the shrine is located there. The !South Lomei Labyrinth is located in the Gerudo region, in the southeastern corner of it, not too far from the Faron region.
If you have the Kitawak Shrine, then it will be just southwest of it. In fact, you will be able to see the maze from that shrine, so it’s easy to go from there. You could also try going from the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, either from the ground or from the air, after launching from it. However you do it, once you arrive at the labyrinth, you will find the entrance on the northern side. Note that if you do come in from the air, it’s easily possible to get on top of the walls, ignoring the actual maze portion of the place.
Going the normal way will present a maze to you, which can be a little confusing, as there will be Gloom inside. If you read the journal at the entrance, you will see the trick to getting through the labyrinth. You will want to follow the Acorns and the Chickaloo Tree Nuts here, which will carry you all the way from the entrance, to the shrine itself. As already mentioned, there will be Gloom in your way, but you should be able to power through it, without having to worry about the consequences. There’s no enemies inside the labyrinth, and considering you’re on the Surface, the Gloom effect will go away fairly quickly.
Once you arrive at the shrine, head inside and open the chest for a Large Zonai Charge, then go to the altar to get the Light of Blessing. It should be noted that if you want to continue with The South Lomei Prophecy side quest, follow the link below. It will allow you to get the Siyamotsus Shrine, as well as the Sisustom Lightroot.
