The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

How to Activate Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower

By
Nathan Garvin

This page will provide a walkthrough for Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You’ll find towers scattered throughout Hyrule, and aside from being striking landmarks that can help you navigate the world (just look out for the four guide lights on the corner - you can spot them from quite a distance!), they’re also useful as fast travel locations and for arguably their primary purpose - unveiling obfuscated map regions. Enter a tower, interact with the terminal, and you’ll be propelled into the sky, from which vantage Link will survey the land around him.

The first tower you claim is a simple, story-driven affair, but later towers are often puzzles, requiring you to figure out how to get inside or where to find a nearby character capable of getting the tower functional again. Since exploring a region before dispelling the fog of war on the map makes it much easier to navigate, you’ll want to seek out towers and complete them before you start exploring a region in earnest.

You can find Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower northwest of Lookout Landing.

Where to find Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom

Another one of the game’s many towers, you’ll find this one northeast of "Lookout Landing" iconLookout Landing, in the Hyrule Ridge subregion. You should largely just be able to follow the road northwest from Lookout Landing until you find Sinakawak Shrine. The tower should be clearly visible to the northwest of this shrine.

How to Complete Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom

Aside from some crabby little rock monsters and perhaps the odd "Bokoblin" iconBokoblin encampment if you stray a bit far afield, there’s nothing terribly dangerous near this tower. There is, however, a barrier to entry - the tower is located on a funnel-shaped island in the middle of a lake, and while you can swim across and attempt to scale the sloped walls of the island, you probably won’t have the Stamina to make it to the top. If you were to make it, however, nothing would be there to stop you from just waltzing right on in, accessing the terminal, and launching yourself into the sky.

Fortunately, there are other means to get across the lake than by swimming, and other means of reaching the top of the tower’s island than by climbing. Make your way to the shore of the lake that surrounds the tower and circle around to the southwestern edge of the lake (around 8-o’clock) to find a foundation with some building materials on it. You can use these to reach the island. There’s no use building without a goal, as the climb up the cliffs to the tower is taxing enough even without the preliminary swim.

Your luck strikes twice here, however, as if you just look north, you’ll find an overhang on the western edge of the island. You can use "Ascend" iconAscend to tunnel through the rock to reach the top of the island, just outside the tower, all you need to do is reach the water under the overhang. To do this, you can just build a bridge using the wooden platforms at the build site. There’s more than enough pieces. Failing that, you can just dunk two wooden platforms into the lake and use "Ultrahand" iconUltrahand to rotate them out (stand on one, Ultrahand to move the other), leapfrogging the two platforms towards the overhang.

However you manage it, reach the water under the overhang with a platform beneath you to keep your feet dry. Once done, use Ascend to reach the tower. From here you can just go up through the door, use the terminal, and launch into the sky to survey the area.
