There are plenty of side quests to take part in around !Rito Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom. Many of these won’t show up, however, until you complete the !Wind Temple. !Legacy of the Rito is one of these quests but gives you one of the best bows in the game. The guide below goes over where to find Legacy of Rito and where to find all the ingredients needed to make the Great Eagle Bow in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom.
How to Make The Great Eagle Bow in Tears of The Kingdom¶
You won’t be able to start Legacy of Rito until you have completed the Wind Temple. Once you are through with this section of the game, go to the top of !Rito Village and speak with Teba. You should see Tulin standing right next to him. He will tell you that he wants to make the legendary Great Eagle Bow, but can’t do so because he is missing the components for it. The chart below goes over what Teba needs to make the Great Eagle Bow.
Great Eagle Bow Items | Where to Find |
---|---|
5x Bundle of Wood | Chopping Trees |
Swallow Bow | Areas Around !Rito Village |
3x Diamonds | Ore Deposits |
The easiest of these items to gather is the bundles of wood. You can get them by chopping down nearby trees and likely already have some in your inventory. Diamonds can be obtained by mining Ore Deposits, but they are one of the rarest types of gems so it will take quite some time before you find three of them. Luckily, there are Ore Deposits all over Hebra Mountain. You can go to the Hebra South Summit Cave to mine some or check out East Biron Snowshelf Cave.
The Swallow Bow is the hardest of these items to get. For this, you are going to need to travel back into the Hebra Mountains. You will need to go to a monster camp located below Talonto Peak. For the location, click here to see the bow’s location on our map. The Swallow Bow is in the chest at this location, so wipe out the monsters and grab it. Once you’re done, return to Teba and speak with him. You will want to give him all of the ingredients you have gathered. After a short cutscene, he will give you the Great Eagle Bow.
Keep in mind that the Great Eagle Bow does have durability and can break. Luckily this is an item that can be repaired, so don’t worry too much about using it. Each major race has their own legendary weapon that will need to be made with gathered ingredients, so be sure to collect them all.
