There are a lot of things to see and do in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom. One of them is to collect a brand new item called Bubbul Gems that are dropped by strange monsters in caves. If you’re like most players, though, you probably are wondering what to do with Bubbul Gems. The guide below goes over what to do with Bubbul Gems in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom.
Do Bubbulgems Do Anything?¶
Bubbulgems are a new item added to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom. In fact, most players will find one before they even leave The Great Sky Island. You won’t find them just lying around on the ground. Instead, you will need to defeat a specific enemy to obtain them. Inside caves, you will sometimes come across Bubbul Frogs. They are large, glowing, and usually running across the ceiling. In fact, the frog itself counts as a treasure for the cave, so your map won’t register it as completed and give the cave a checkmark until you find and defeat the Bubbul From.
Once you have gotten yourself a Bubbul Gem, you won’t be able to do anything with it, and it will show up as a collectible like Korok Seeds on the side of your load screen. You will need to head to Eldin to complete the side adventure The Hunt For Bubbul Gems, if you want to exchange them. Once you complete the first quest, you can find a man named Koltin. He will exchange a set amount of Bubbul Gems for rare items. This includes the Mystic Set of armor, rare monster drops, and the Moblin Mask.
