This page offers a guide on how to complete Serutabomac Shrine, found in Hyrule Castle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You’ll find details on how to find the shrine and how to solve all its puzzles and find the treasure chest!

Where to Find Serutabomac Shrine¶

This shrine is found in the sky region of Hyrule Castle - the dungeon part that has its own dedicated map! More specifically, you’ll find this shrine on B1, on the north side of the castle (Map Marker).

Getting to the upper Hyrule Castle region can be tricky, however. You can reach the Serutabomac Shrine by starting from the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, but you’ll need to complete the Wind Temple first. This is because you need to acquire Tulin’s Power of Wind ability, which you can use to thrust yourself forward towards Hyrule Castle while paragliding from Lookout Landing. In this way you can reach the castle before falling to the ground just before it. It will also help to have your stamina upgraded just in case you need to stay in the air with the Paraglider for a little longer. Once you’re in the main part of the castle, you can make your way to the shrine as shown here on the map.

If you haven’t completed the Wind Temple yet or you just want to reach Hyrule Castle using an alternative method, you can also use the Autobuild ability to construct a Dirigible which can be used to reach it. Another method is the use of a Hot Air Balloon, most of the components for which can be found in the grounds of Lookout Landing. You can use this to fly over the castle and then jump down to paraglide into it.

First things first, you’ll want to equip ultrahand and pick up the platform on the left and lift it up onto the platform holder on the back wall. Then, use Ascend to ascend up onto the platform where you can then climb up into the next portion of the shrine.

In this next part, you’re going to want to repeat the same thing. But first attach the smaller platform to the short side of the longer platform to create and L-shape. Then, pick up this L-shape and hang it over the spikes sticking out of the right hand wall. You can now ascend up this (even though its a bit sloped) and make your way up to the next area.

How to Get Serutabomac Shrine Treasure Chest¶

Before we proceed to the end of the shrine, you’ll want to use the platforms to reach the treasure chest on the upper ledge to the left. To do this, first place a smaller platform on the spikes. Then, rotate the longer platform and attach it lengthwise to the platform on the spikes. Finally, use a smaller platform and place it atop the tall platform - making a C-shape. You can now hop onto the platform on the spikes and ascend up onto the upper platform to reach the treasure chest, which contains a Magic Rod.

Use the platforms to make a long c-shape to reach the treasure.

Now that you’ve gotten the treasure, you’ll want to use these same platform pieces to reach the end of the shrine. Firstly, detach all the pieces then place the long platform flat on the ground. Then, place a smaller platform vertically on the long platform to then attach the other small platform to the top, creating a c-shape using the long platform and the two smaller ones.

Once that’s done, place it atop the spikes and ascend up to the platforms until you reach the final area of the shrine where you can claim your Light of Blessing!
