There are plenty of quests to find around !Goron City. Sadly, most won’t pop up until you have completed the Fire Temple and gotten rid of the Marbled Rock Roast that’s overtaking the Gorons. Once you do, you can start the quest Moon-Gazing Gorons. The guide below goes over where to find the moon in Lake Ferona and how to complete the quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom.
Where to Find The Moon in Lake Ferona¶
To start Moon-Gazing Gorons, you will need to have completed the Fire Temple. Once done, you will find two Gorons, Tray and Volcon, standing out front of the Inn in Goron City. Speak with them to learn that they are looking for a spot from their past somewhere in !Lake Ferona. You can use the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower. To quickly get to the southernmost end of !Lake Ferona. Once there, you will find the Lake Ferona Cave in front of the large rock at the lake’s southern end. Head inside and set up a campfire, you will want to wait until noon.
Once you come back from waiting, you will see light shining in the cave. Take out your Camera and take a picture of the light. You should see text pop-up, if you don’t then the picture won’t register correctly. Once you have your photo, return to !Goron City and speak with the pair again. Link will automatically show them the picture. For your trouble, Tray and Volcon will give you a Silver Rupee completing the quest.
