When you begin playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you realize that base weapons aren’t going to really cut it for fighting. That’s where one of the main abilities, Fuse, comes into play. This ability allows you to put items on your weapons, shields, and even arrows, making them more powerful. You will find a list of
How to Use Fuse in Tears of the Kingdom¶
Fuse is one of the abilities that you learn on the Great Sky Island, which is pretty much the prologue of the game. Whenever you have a weapon or shield equipped, find an item on the ground and select the Fuse ability. Note that you can also go into your inventory, select to Hold an item, then drop it on the ground. With the item on the ground, press the designated button to either fuse it with your equipped weapon or shield. Depending on the item used, it might change your weapon’s look, or even give it different properties. The item used will also give the weapon and/or shield more power, with the item having a power rating on it.
Best Fusions for Weapons in Tears of the Kingdom¶
When you first learn about fusion, you’re not going to be getting a lot of choices, in terms of items, so you’re stuck with like rocks and other basic weapons. As you play through the game, though, those choices will begin to increase and you’ll be able to create some powerful weapons with this ability.
