You will find yourself running out of room pretty quickly when you play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom. If you want to upgrade your inventory slots, then you need to find Hestu, a friendly Korok who will expand your inventory slot in exchange for Korok Seeds. The guide below goes over where to find Hestu’s first location and how to get him to upgrade your pouch.

How to Find Hestu and Unlock Inventory Expansion in Tears of The Kingdom¶
As you are moving along to Rito, you will be able to encounter a large Korok named Hestu. Hestu has the ability to increase your storage space by one slot. You will find Hestu below the Skyview Tower in Lindor’s Brow.

Speak with him, and he will tell you he’s hiding from some trees just up the road. This is like the trees that attacked you closer to Carok Bridge. Equip an axe or use fire for a quick takedown, and walk up to the pair to engage them. Once they are cut down, speak with Hestu again, who will explain that he is looking for Korok Seeds. You can give him one in exchange for providing an extra slot to your weapon, shield, or bow stash.
You can increase your inventory stash by one for a single Korok Seed.
After you spend the first Korok Seed, Hestu will give you the ability to use one more at this location. Afterward, he will head east, and you must find him again to upgrade your stashes more.
